When wind direction is measured, WMT700 sends analog output as simulated potentiometer output voltage referred to as external reference voltage. The output is a proportional signal 0 ... 100 % of the reference voltage representing the wind direction. The reference voltage must be in the range of 1.0 ... 4.0 VDC (WMS425) or 0 … 10 VDC (WMT700). The output is 0 VDC at 0 degrees and increases to the reference voltage at 359 degrees.
