COM1 is a fixed RS-485 communication interface to be used as a service port.
COM2 is a flexible digital communication interface that is preconfigured according to your order. The available options are:
| RS-232 | Recommended for up to 15 m distance. |
| RS-485 | Recommended for up to 1200 m distance in point-to-point connection. |
| RS-422 | Recommended for up to 1200 m distance. |
| SDI-12 | Recommended for up to 60 m distance. |
| The recommendations depend on communication speed and cable type. In optimized environments even longer distances can be considered. |
Regardless of the factory configuration, you can change the COM2 interface type by using terminal software.
