QML data logger stores the measured and calculated data in the internal memory. The internal memory is a Flash chip with a data storage capacity of 3.3 MB. The internal memory is used as a temporary non-volatile storage for reports that are scheduled to be transmitted to an external server.
QML data logger generates a daily log file and saves it on the external CompactFlash memory card in the QML data logger, in the /Ext/<station name> subfolder, at midnight. The default time is 00:05:00. The logger deletes the log files automatically after 366 days.
Always use an external memory card in the logger, or the internal log memory may fill up. |
The daily log file is a binary DAT file that can be converted to CSV with AWS Client. The filename is L0YYMMDD.dat.
- L0 = Log group name for daily log files
- YY = Year in 2 digits
- MM = Month in 2 digits
- DD = Day in 2 digits
The QML data logger uses UTC time in data logging and managing log files. |
