BL-View supports remote connection to the ceilometer. Select the settings for the TCP/IP communication with the ceilometer.
  1. In BL-View, select System > Settings > Devices.
  2. In Connection, set the following:
    Connection type
    Select TCP Server or TCP Client. If you set BL-View as the TCP server, you only need to specify the local port.
    Local port
    The port on your computer.
    Device IP address
    Ceilometer IP address. Select to match the setting in ceilometer.
    Device port
    Ceilometer port number.
  3. Configure the message settings.
  4. Select Save and Close.
