Make sure that you have the new product key for the license.
If you have a new product key, for example for a new license or an update license for adding more devices to BL-View, you must first uninstall BL-View and License Manager, and then install BL-View and activate the new license.
  1. Take a backup of the existing files (Backing up BL-View Data).
  2. Take a snapshot of the device settings (System > Settings > Devices) so that you can restore them easily after the new BL-View installation.
  3. Uninstall BL-View even if you already have the latest BL-View version (Uninstalling BL-View).
  4. Uninstall Vaisala License Manager.

    Select Start > Vaisala License Manager. Right-click and select Uninstall and follow the onscreen instructions.

  5. Install BL-View from the USB drive and activate the license (Installing BL-View).
