HIS files are log files that contain measurement data in ASCII format.
HIS files are generated automatically for level 2 (L2) and level 3 (L3) data. Manually generated HIS files contain level 3 data.
His File Property | Automatically Generated Files | Manually Generated Files (Export) |
---|---|---|
Data | Level 2, level 3 | Level 3 |
Preset | Default and all existing presets (separate files for each preset) | User-selectable preset |
Storage location | C:\BLView\History\<year>\<month> | C:\Program Files (x86)\Vaisala\BLView\bin\History\<month> |
The filename is of format <CEILOMETER_NAME>_<DATA_LEVEL>_<PRESET>_<DD>.his.
An example of a filename: CEILOMETER_1_LEVEL_2_DEFAULT_27.his.
