You can modify the algorithm settings for Merged Gradient and profile fit, Gradient, and Profile data.

The modifications apply to that preset only. Other presets that use the same algorithm remain unchanged.

Saving a new or an edited preset closes all open plots except the live default plot and resets the view.
  1. In BL-View, select System > Settings > Presets.
  2. Select a preset from the list on the left.
You cannot modify the Default preset.
  3. In Algorithm method, select the algorithm to modify, and select Edit.
  4. In Advanced algorithm settings, modify the settings.
The available settings depend on the selected algorithm.
  5. For Gradient settings, set the Algorithm sensitivity.

The available range is 0 … 20. The default value is 5.

  6. For Profile Fit settings, set the following:
    SNR

    Set the signal-to-noise ratio.

The available range is 0 … 100. The default value is 1.

    SNR average window

Set the average window for the signal-to-noise ratio.

    The available range is 20 … 1000 m (66 ...  3280 ft). The default value is 500 m (1640 ft).

    Night profile length

Set the length of the night profile.

    The available range is 10 … 4500 m (33 ... 14 760 ft). The default value is 1000 m (3280 ft).

    Day profile length

Set the length of the day profile.

    The available range is 10 … 4500 m (33 ... 14 760 ft). The default value is 4000 m (13 120 ft).

    Outlier removal strength

    Set the outlier removal strength.

The available range is 0 … 500. The default value is 60.

  7. Select OK.
  8. Select Save and Close.

The changes are reflected in the Information panel for those plots that use the modified preset.

To use the modified preset, select Add Plot and for Preset, select the preset you modified.
