Select the settings for serial communication with the ceilometer.
  1. In BL-View, select System > Settings > Devices.
  2. In Connection, set the following:
    Connection type
    Select Serial.
    Baud rate
    Set the baud rate. The options are 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, and 115200.
    Serial port number
    Select a COM port to communicate with the ceilometer. The available range is COM1 ... COM20.
    Data bits
    Set the number of data bits to use. The available range is 5 ... 9. The default value is 8.
    Stop bits
    Set the number of stop bits to use. The available range is 0 ... 4. The default value is 1.
    Parity
    Select the parity. The options are None, Odd, Even, Mark, or Space.
  3. Configure the message settings.
  4. Select Save and Close.
