If your computer has the Windows 10 operating system and it does not respond to data export in BL‑View (Tools > Data Export), try logging in as an administrator.

  1. To permanently fix the issue, right-click the BL-View icon on your desktop, select Properties > Advanced, and check the box for Run as administrator.
  2. To fix the issue for the current BL-View session:
    • Right-click the BL-View icon on your desktop and select Run as administrator.
    • On your computer, browse to Start > Programs > Vaisala, right-click on BL-View, and select Run as administrator.
    To avoid the issue from re-appearing, always start BL-View as an administrator.
  3. To verify that the export works, select Tools > Data Export.
