CAUTION Before you uninstall BL-View, back up BL-View data.
Removing BL-View does not remove the gathered data from your computer.
  1. Check the settings in your current BL-View installation and write them down or take screenshots.
    • In BL-View 2.0, go to Settings > Communication.
    • In later BL-View versions, go to System > Settings > Devices.

    The following is an example screenshot of the device and TCP/IP communication settings in BL-View version 2.0.

    Write down the following information or take a screenshot:

    • Name or Device Name
    • Latitude
    • Longitude
    • Altitude, if available
    • UTC offset
    • WMO station number, if available
    • File suffix, if available
    • File path, if available
    • Message type
    • Message interval
    • Connection settings, as applicable depending on the connection type
  2. Select Start > Control Panel.
  3. Depending on the operating system of your computer, select Add or remove programs or similar.
  4. Select BL-View > Uninstall, and follow the onscreen instructions.
