Table 1. BL-View Status, Warnings
Status Message Reason Instructions
Disk space low The free disk space allocated for the history files in the history folder has decreased to the amount indicated in the message. The system still continues saving history files. Make more disk space available in the history folder.
Message interval warning Selected sensor data message sending frequency is not optimal for BL-View (16 or 36 seconds).

Set the message interval according to the ceilometer type:

  • CL31: 16 seconds
  • CL51: 36 seconds

See Configuring Ceilometer.

Too old archive directories found The history files contain too old directories that automatic clean-up reports. By default, automatic disk clean-up is disabled. Contact Vaisala technical support.

Status Message Reason Instructions
Checksum error Error in checksum calculation. By default, the checksum calculation is disabled. Contact Vaisala technical support.
Configuration alarm There is not enough space for temporary XOA files. Make more disk space available.
Message interval error Sensor data interval must be 2 ... 75 seconds. Set the sensor data message sending frequency to 2 ... 75 seconds. See BL-View Connection Settings.
Missing ceilometer data Sensor is not connected. Check that IO Terminal connection to the ceilometer has been disconnected. Change if necessary.
Sensor communication settings are not correct. Check that the communication settings of the ceilometer and BL-View match.
Out of disk space The free disk space allocated for history files in the history folder has fallen below the predefined limit. The system has stopped saving data in the history files.

Make more disk space available in the history folder so that saving can continue. The system continues saving history files when enough free disk space is available in the folder.

Output directory error Invalid directory path specified. Restart your computer.
Port error BL-View cannot open the serial port. Make sure that the computer has the corresponding serial port. If you are using a USB extender, verify that it is connected, working properly, and not reserved by another application.
