Probe attachment

The probe holder (Vaisala item ASM213382SP, includes 5 probe holders) is a versatile mounting accessory for securing HMP3 and HMP7 probes with a max. 2 m cable between the probe body and the probe head. To attach the probe, simply press the probe head into the probe attachment.

  • The magnet can hold the weight of a max. 2 m cable between the probe body and the probe head. Do not use the magnet with probes which have probe cables longer than 2 m.
  • The probe holder is not suitable for use at extreme temperatures.

Make sure that vibration or other external factors will not unintentionally change the probe position after installation. For permanent installations, Vaisala recommends attaching the holder with additional screws.
