When the transmitter powers up, the startup surge current may rise up to 120 mA. If you are connecting the transmitter to a system that uses a current limiting function, this can cause a startup issue that prevents the transmitter from powering up.
- Adjust the current limiting function of the system to which you are connecting the transmitter so that it can accommodate the startup surge current.
- Add an extra load resistor between the +RH terminal and the power supply. The value of the serial resistor must be calculated based on the supply voltage and shunt resistance value.
