Multichannel User Interface MI can be mounted on a wall with wall mounting or on a table with a table stand.

Make sure that the mounting location is easily accessible.

Be careful when mounting, MI weighs 13 kg (28.5 lbs).
CAUTION Do not drill mounting holes in the enclosure as that will affect the protection class of the enclosure and damage the electronics.

MI is shipped with a rain cover. Vaisala recommends that it is installed even indoors to protect the top of the door from dust and dirt.

If mounted outdoors, MI must be protected from rain and direct sunlight.

Figure 8. Locking MI. The door handle can be modified to make space for a padlock to prevent unauthorized access.

Remove the handle center cover and remove the segment indicated by break-line on the back of cover.

Replace the center cover once indicated segment has been removed, making sure the opening aligns with the channel for the padlock shackle.
