Multichannel User Interface MI is an industrial computer designed to add functionality to Vaisala K-PATENTS® PR-43 Process Refractometers. MI sends and receives data and it can also be used to control the process.
MI connects with up to 4 Vaisala K-PATENTS® PR-43 Process Refractometers. With module cards, it can also be used to add external inputs and outputs (for example relays and mA outputs) to your refractometer system.
MI is operated by the touch-screen display. The stainless steel enclosure gives a good environmental protection and allows also outdoor installations, especially with the included rain cover. The outer door is easy to open with one hand and the handle can be modified to add a padlock to prevent unauthorized access. The module cards can be reached by opening the inner door.
MI has IP66 rating when the outer door is open if the inner door (display panel) is fixed. With outer door closed the rating is IP67.
