Recipe apps can perform unit conversions so that measurement results can be displayed in 2 or more units simultaneously. Unit conversions enable familiar readings like numeric values and engineering units, and comparing the measurement values to laboratory results gets easier.

Creating recipe for unit conversion

A properly configured recipe is needed for each unit conversion. Create a new recipe for each new unit to be displayed. For clarity it is recommended to name the new recipe according to the unit. To implement the unit conversion, adjust a field calibration parameter F10 by setting its value to (M – 1) where M is the conversion multiplier. See Creating new recipe and Modifying recipe.

Displaying several unit conversions simultaneously

To display several unit conversions simultaneously, run each unit conversion recipe in its own Recipe app. If necessary, activate new Recipe apps, see Activating Recipe app. Connect the new Recipe apps to the same source Refractometer app to perform unit conversions of a single measurement. To change the primary unit marking on the Recipe app display, go to Recipe app > Calibration and tap the little triangle of drop-down menu Primary unit.
