The mA input module card adds 2 analog inputs to Multichannel User Interface MI.
The mA input module specifications are the following:
- 2 independent ±20 mA analog inputs
- 24-bit resolution
- 6 samples/s sample rate
- Traceable calibration
- Screw-terminal connectivity
- Galvanic isolation 1000 V DC or AC (peak)
The mA inputs are compliant to Namur NE43. NAMUR NE 43 uses the 3.8 … 20.5 mA signal range for measurement information, with ≥21 mA or ≤3.6 mA to indicate diagnostic failures. With that information, it is easier to detect a failure condition.
