To configure the inputs and outputs, select the module card in the module view. Select the application to which the input/output is connected and then choose the desired function from a list.
The digital outputs can be configured for:
- Concentration - high limit
- Concentration - low limit
- Error
- Full wash (precondition, wash, recovery)
- Normal
- Precondition
- Temperature - high limit
- Temperature - low limit
- Warning
- Wash
The digital inputs can be configured for:
- External hold
- External wash
- External wash stop
Parameters LIMIT and HYSTERESIS are used to switch the digital output based on concentration or temperature measurement values by the functions CONC - HIGH LIMIT, CONC - LOW LIMIT, T - HIGH LIMIT and T - LOW LIMIT. Switching on high limit activates when the measured value exceeds HIGH LIMIT + HYSTERESIS. The output switches off on high limit when the measured value goes below HIGH LIMIT - HYSTERESIS. Respectively, switching on low limit activates when the measured value goes below LOW LIMIT - HYSTERESIS. The output switches off on low limit when the measured value exceeds LOW LIMIT + HYSTERESIS.
CAUTION When you have chosen the settings for the inputs or outputs, tap DONE to save changes and exit the setup. |
Using general I/O module to trigger prism wash
Prism wash can be started by configuring the general input for external wash request. To activate the wash system a relay must be configured to be a wash relay. Select the wash function on the relay display. To configure the general input, select the function IN: EXT WASH on the I/O module display.
