Keep OPT100 Optimus DGA monitor and any installation accessories in their original packaging during storage and transport. Keep the items dry and in conditions allowed by the storage specification. Protect OPT100 Optimus DGA monitor from rain if you need to store it outside on its back. Follow any handling instructions marked on the outside of the packaging.
After installation, store the packaging in a dry place. You can reuse it for storage and transport later.
| CAUTION Do not store a DGA monitor that has been installed to a natural ester filled transformer for long periods of time. The maximum recommended storage time is 1 month. If you need to store a used natural ester liquid DGA monitor for a longer period, flush it first by temporarily operating it connected to a container filled with synthetic ester liquid or mineral oil. |
