Wear protective eyewear, gloves, and a safety helmet.
To protect your hands, always wear gloves when handling the guy wires.
WARNING Make sure your clothing and equipment do not get tangled in the
wires or equipment during installation.
In assembling guy wires, you need:
Wedge clamp for guy wire (SH49)
(3 pcs) (if you use additional middle guy wires, 6 pcs)
Attach the guy wires with the wedge clamps
to the guy wire foundations.
The
installation of guy wire 1 is different from the installation of guy wires 2 and 3. Assemble
the wedge clamps only for guy wires 2 and 3. Assemble guy wire 1 after the mast is
erected.
Connect the U‑bolt to the lifting eye nut that is installed on the concrete
foundation.
Slide the strap onto the U‑bolt and thread the nuts.

Push the guy wire through the strap and slide the wedge on the guy wire.

Push the wedge to the strap and hammer it in tightly. Check that the wire is
pre-tensioned.

To secure the wedge, tighten the wedge adjustment screw.
If you have the additional middle guy wire set, install the guy wires to the same
concrete blocks and eye nuts as the basic guy wire set.
