WARNING Before disconnecting the guy wire, check that the winch is installed securely and that the winch wire is tight.
  1. Assemble the lifting rod by screwing the single parts to the joined parts.
  2. Attach the lifting rod to the mast base plate.

  3. Disconnect the lower part of the guy wire that is closest to the lifting rod.
  4. Lift up the lifting rod and attach it to the guy wire with a shackle.

  5. Attach the winch hook to the end of the lifting rod.

  6. Disconnect the guy rod from the guy wire.
  7. Remove the locking pin from the winch and install the winch to the lifting eye bolt on the guy wire foundation.

  8. Secure the winch with the locking pin.
