Particle counter model CI-3100-25 runs on 48 v provided by PoE (802.3at). It requires a compatible 10/100 802.3at network switch that provides both power and network connectivity. PoE must have 30W available per port, which can set a limit on the number of particle counters that can connect to a single PoE switch. The particle counter can also be powered using PoE injectors.
A CAT6e network cable is recommended with RJ45 terminations.
