- In Sites Manager select the Hosts and Devices tab.
- In the Hosts and Devices tree, select add Non-Vaisala Modbus Device from the Configure drop-down menu.

Fill out the Device Information in the Communication
Settings fields:
- IP Address = IP Address of the particle counter
- Port Number = 502
- Unit ID = 20 (other values can be entered, as shown below)

Add viewLinc channel details.
For the initial configuration and verification step use the scale factor of 1, even if you are performing metric conversions. Location naming scheme should be: <<Location Name>>_<<Measurement Type>>- Location name = unique description for the room, Biological Safety Cabinet (BSC) or location ID where the particle count is taking place.
- Measurement type = 0.5µm, 5.0µm, or Flow

To perform metric conversion, select the device you created above, then select
Edit Properties from the Configure drop-down menu. Metric conversion scale factor: 1 cubic meter = 35.315 Cubic
