Use Lightning Protection Kit DKL201 to install an air terminal to a mast or pole with a diameter of 50 mm (1.97 in) or 60 mm (2.36 in). Install the components in the order presented:

If you are mounting the air terminal to an installed mast or replacing an air terminal, tilt down the mast first. See instructions about tilting the mast in the mast product documentation.
CAUTION Erect and lower the mast securely and safely. See the mast product documentation for instructions and follow the safety requirements. -
