WID513 receives data from Vaisala sensors, using RS‑485/RS‑232 or Ethernet connection. If the system layout differs from the basic RS‑485 connection, additional media converters and network components may be needed to establish a data connection between the sensor and the display.
To ensure uninterrupted data flow, several displays can be connected in parallel when using RS‑485/RS‑232 connection, or connected in a parallel LAN bus. If one of the displays fails, the other displays continue to display data.
The operation of the display is determined by the display configuration.
