Preventive maintenance for the solar panel includes:
- Inspecting the module at least twice a year for overall integrity. Make sure that connections to the battery are tight and free of corrosion.

Cleaning the module surface, if needed. Dirt accumulation on the module's front surface can reduce the light energy collected by the module. If the module surface is dirty, gently clean it using mild detergent and a soft, lint-free cloth.
CAUTION Do not use a scrub brush. It can damage the front surface of the module.
