Update need
This release does not contain any critical fixes. You can update the firmware if you want to take the new features or fixes into use.
Compatibility
- All CL61 releases.
- Does not support CL31 and CL51.
- Cannot create visualizations from L3 files stored by older versions of BL-View.
New features and improvements
- Added time zone support: BL-View shows data using the local time zone of the PC it is installed on.
- Enabled changing some algorithm parameters in mixing layer height (MLH) calculation.
- Enabled reading CL61 netCDF files with a non-default prefix.
- Redesigned application-internal L3 netCDF file format.
- Improved performance with redesigned CL61 file conversion.
- Added backward compatibility with older versions of CL61 netCDF files.
- Several smaller usability, performance, and stability improvements.
Known issues

Installation instructions
Download the firmware from docs.vaisala.com. The package includes the necessary software files and release notes.
If you are installing BL‑View to a computer that has a previous version of BL‑View, back up your data and uninstall the previous version before installing the new version.
