Vaisala has updated its software development process to comply with IEC 62443‑4‑1 (Secure product development life cycle requirements). This standard takes into account the security of the product throughout its life cycle.
Vaisala follows secure coding practices and, by default, RWS200 firmware updates remedy CVEs (common vulnerabilities and exposures) of third-party components. Also, Vaisala uses external security scans and fixes the vulnerabilities found in those RWS200 applications that have been developed by Vaisala.
