CAUTION

Do not touch the radiosonde sensors. They are fragile and can be easily contaminated.

WARNING! During humidity sensor reconditioning, the temperature of the sensor boom is about 150 °C for 3 minutes.
  1. Place the RS41 radiosonde on the ground check device.

When the ground check device detects the radiosonde, DigiCORA automatically goes to the preparation phase. The status is indicated with progress bars for each step of the preparation phase.

CAUTION Do not connect Ozone Interface Board OIF to the radiosonde while the radiosonde is placed on the ground check device.
  2. While the preparation is ongoing, on the Additional sensor row, select Ozone.
  3. Once DigiCORA indicates that the preparation is completed, take the radiosonde from the ground check device.
The red LED of the radiosonde is blinking because the additional sensor is not connected yet. The system state is typically Waiting for additional sensor data.
