Connecting cable - DMT153

1. Connect the DMT153 connection cable to a Vaisala Indigo transmitter, Indigo80 indicator, or to your automation system. When using an open-ended cable, see also the wiring instructions in this document.
2. Connect the M12 end of the connection cable to the DMT153 transmitter.

   Hold the connector in place while turning its locking ring clockwise – never twist the connector body!

3. Turn on the power supply. The DMT153 transmitter performs self-diagnostics at startup, and the output is frozen for several minutes. The transmitter will output an approximated reading after 1 minute, but accurate measurement will only be available after the startup procedure is complete. Normal operation is typically achieved in 10–15 minutes, depending on the conditions of the measurement environment.

When starting up, the transmitter always performs the self-diagnostic procedure, including autocalibration and sensor purge. Keep the transmitter continuously powered to optimize its measurement performance and availability.
