To upgrade your Beacon Station or Connected Compact Station to Beam Weather Station, you must update the DMU801 firmware and upload the Beam configuration to DMU801.
Data Management Unit DMU801 is inside the EGW501 gateway. It collects and processes the sensor measurement data and sends it to Vaisala cloud or external data collection system. You can use the DMU801 Web UI to configure the Beam Weather Station.
If you are using your own SIM card and it allows two-way communication, you can use the Web UI remotely after the update.
