To make sure that system components stay up to date, Vaisala provides firmware updates to DMU801. To update the firmware, you need the firmware update file from Vaisala.
  1. Save the firmware update file on your computer.
  2. In the Web UI, check the current firmware version from the bottom left corner.
  3. Go to System > Operations, and under Firmware update, select Update.
  4. In the Firmware update window, select Browse, locate the new firmware file, and select Upload.

    The filename ends with .firmware.

Once the firmware is updated, DMU801 restarts, and you are directed to the Login page.

Wait at least 5 minutes after updating the DMU801 firmware before switching off power from DMU801. If you switch off power too soon, it may become impossible to update the firmware again.
