4G SIM card (if the current SIM card
does not support 4G connectivity)
The same mounting bracket can be used
for both cellular modems.
Power down the station.
Disconnect cabling from the 3G modem.
Remove the 3G modem from the mounting bracket.
Remove the SIM card from the 3G modem.
Insert the new 4G SIM card to the 4G modem so that the circuit side faces up. Use a
tool, for example a small screwdriver, to push the SIM card in so that the card snaps to
position.
You can use the old SIM card if it
supports 4G connectivity.
Attach the 4G modem to the mounting bracket.
Connect cabling to the 4G modem.
Attach the mounting bracket to the DIN rail.
Power up the station. This may take a while.
Configure the cellular modem settings in the weather station configuration.
