Make sure that you have set a PIN code for the SIM card before configuring the cellular modem settings. Entering an incorrect PIN code locks the SIM card.
The modem can be configured as the primary or secondary telemetry device. When using it as a secondary telemetry device, replace the parameter GPRS_1 with GPRS_2, GSM_Modem_1 with GSM_Modem_2, and netif0 with netif1.
  1. Establish a service connection to the station.
  2. In AWS Client, select Settings > Parameters > Static.
  3. In the CFG parameter set, check which telemetry device you are configuring: primary (GPRS_1) or secondary (GPRS_2). The value of the active cellular modem is 1.
