In Jade Smart Cloud, devices are identified by their model and serial number. For example, AP10 with the serial number V2521508 appears on the device list as AP10-V2521508.

  1. Log in to your Jade Smart Cloud account at jade.vaisala.com.
  2. Select the Devices menu and locate the access point in the list.
    If the access point is currently connected, its status in the list is Online.
  3. Select the access point. The Overview tab opens, showing the communication status of the access point
  4. Select the Device properties tab.
  5. Check the Radio channel value.
    If you have more than one AP10 access point in your system, you must make sure each one is using its own radio channel.
  6. To change the channel:
    1. Locate the Radio channel setting and select Edit next to it.
    2. Select a new channel value from the drop-down menu (1–8).
    3. Select the checkmark to submit the change.

      All data loggers that are currently connected to this access point will lose connection when the channel changes. They will automatically rejoin the system, but their connection to Jade Smart Cloud will be temporarily interrupted.
