The user interface of viewLinc Cloud contains guidance texts and instructional tours. Use them to learn the basic concepts and use the features effectively.

In viewLinc Cloud, devices are identified by their model and serial number. For example, AP10 with the serial number V2521508 appears on the device list as AP10-V2521508.

  1. Log in to your viewLinc Cloud account at viewlinc.com.
  2. Select the Devices menu and locate the access point in the Devices and Hosts list.
    If the access point is currently connected, its status in the list is Online.
  3. Select the access point. The Status tab opens, showing the devices that the access point is currently connecting to the system.
  4. Select the Properties tab to view device information.
  5. Check the VaiNet channel value.
    If you have more than one AP10 access point in your system, you must make sure each one is using its own channel.
  6. To change the VaiNet channel:
    1. Select Edit.
    2. Select a new VaiNet channel value from the drop-down menu (1–8).
    3. Select Save.

      All data loggers that are currently connected to this access point will lose connection when the channel changes. They will automatically rejoin the system, but their connection to viewLinc will be temporarily interrupted.
