The Vaisala Polaris PR53 Cooling Cover is an optional accessory designed to enable the operation of PR53 series process refractometers in high-temperature environments.

- Make sure that the refractometer is not powered.
- Position the cooling cover where the normal cover would be and tighten the screws to 2 Nm.
- Attach the cooling cover to the mains water supply, ensuring the 1/4 inch hose connection is secure and the water pressure is within the specified range.
- Confirm that the cooling cover is securely attached and check for leaks in the water connections.
