Follow these instructions to install the
PR53SD wash connection.
WARNING If you are not using a wash system, plug the wash
connection.
Valve positioning bracket

Install locking plate (8) and valve positioning bracket (7). Tighten the 2 bolts with a
8-mm wrench to 5 Nm.
Install the wash isolation valve (5). Make sure the bracket fits into the flange groove
(6). Tighten the wash isolation valve nut (9) with a 32-mm wrench to 80 Nm.
Use pliers to twist the locking plate (8) over the valve positioning bracket
bolts.
Push the steam wash nozzle into the wash isolation valve (5).
Tighten the wash nozzle nut (4) a few turns using a 46-mm wrench. Do not tighten
fully.
Open the wash isolation valve (5).
Push the steam wash nozzle fully into the process.
Install the safety pin (3).
Tighten the wash nozzle nut (4) with a 46-mm wrench to approx. 40-45 Nm.
Add 2‑3 rounds of PTFE‑tape to the threads of the new steam wash nozzle fitting
(1).
Connect the steam hose. Tighten with a 9/16 in wrench.
