System alarms (database or event log validation alarms) can only be acknowledged in the Alarms window. System alarms remain in the Alarms window until they are acknowledged.

- In the Alarms window on the alarms grid, right-click on a system alarm and select Acknowledge.
- In the Acknowledge Alarms window indicate any action taken, select a predefined comment, if available, or type any additional comments about why you are acknowledging an inactive alarm.
- Select Acknowledge.
