Follow these guidelines to ensure the best operating environment for the process refractometer:
- Install the refractometer indoors or outdoors. In outdoor installations, protect the device from exposure to sunlight and rain.
- If the pipe is translucent, protect the prism from light. Outside light may disturb the measurements.
- Use additional cooling according to Process temperature and recommended cooling. Notice that the values in the figure are indicative. Required cooling depends on the installation location and environment.
