This task ensures that there is a local backup of the current IX20 configuration, which can be used to restore the device's configuration at a later date.
  1. Log into the IX20 WebUI as a user with full Admin access rights.
  2. In the main menu, select System > Configuration Maintenance.
  3. In the Configuration Maintenance window, select the Save button in the Configuration backup section and specify a location to store the configuration backup.
    Do not provide a passphrase.
There is now a copy of the IX20 device configuration that can be used to create a default configuration for the IX20. Alternatively, it can be used to restore the configuration values (by navigating to the same Configuration Maintenance window and uploading the file in the Restore box).
