Ensure you have a backup of the IX20
configuration available.
You can configure your IX20 device to
use custom default settings. This way, when you erase the device's configuration, the device
will reset to your custom configuration rather than having its configuration values
cleared.

Log into the IX20 WebUI as a user with full Admin access rights.

In the main menu, select .

In the File System window, select the upload icon in the
Default device configuration section.

Navigate to the location the backup of the configuration is stored, select it, and
select the upload icon.

Reboot the IX20.
If the Digi IX20 ever has its configuration erased, after the IX20 restarts, it will
have these configuration values automatically set.
