Before starting, update DGA monitor software to the latest version.
  • Temperature sensors (labeled leg and MHT)
  • Temperature sensor covers (2 pcs)
  • Pump leg sensor mounting kit (M5 bolt, A5.3 washers (3 pcs))
  • MHT411 sensor mounting kit (M3 spacer, B3.2 washer, M3×5 bolt, M3×16 bolt)
  • Wire cutters
  • Box cutter or file
  • 2.5‑mm Allen key
  • 4‑mm Allen key
  1. Stop measurement as instructed in OPT100 User Guide (M211858EN).
  2. After the measurement cycle has stopped, switch off the power supply from SW1 in the OPTPSU cabinet.
  3. Locate the correct temperature sensors to remove, see Figure 1.
  4. Cut the cable ties holding the wires in place.
  5. Study the route of the original sensor wire or take a picture of it.
  6. Unplug the temperature sensor connector from the Control Unit, X04.
  7. Loosen the old temperature sensor bolts.
  8. Use wire cutters to remove the glue. Use a box cutter or a file if needed. Make the surface as smooth as possible.
  9. Remove the old wires and recycle them according to local regulations.
  10. Install the new temperature sensors and the sensor covers.
    1. Install the pump leg temperature sensor with M5 bolt and 3 A5.3 washers. Make sure the cable runs downwards. Press the sensor cover into place. Make sure the cable comes out of the groove.
    2. Install the MHT411 temperature sensor with M3 spacer and B3.2 washer. Make sure the spacer is properly tightened. Install the sensor cover with M3×6 and M3×16 bolts. Make sure the cable comes out of the groove.
  11. Lead the cables to the Control Unit using the same route as the original cables.
  12. Connect the temperature sensor cables to the Control Unit, X04.
  13. Using cable ties, tie the cables together with other cables.
  14. Swtich on the power supply from SW1 in the OPTPSU cabinet.
  15. Start measurement as instructed in OPT100 User Guide (M211858EN).
  16. Check the device after 2 hours to see that there are no errors.
