Before starting, update DGA monitor software to the latest version.
  • Temperature sensor (labeled OB)
  • Temperature sensor cover
  • M5 bolts (2 pcs)
  • Washer (4 pcs)
  • Wire cutters
  • Box cutter or file
  • 4‑mm Allen key
  1. Stop measurement as instructed in OPT100 User Guide (M211858EN).
  2. After the measurement cycle has stopped, switch off the power supply from SW1 in the OPTPSU cabinet.
  3. Locate the correct temperature sensor to remove, see Figure 1.
  4. Cut the cable ties holding the temperature sensor wires in place. Be careful not to damage the wires while cutting.
  5. Study the route of the original sensor wire or take a picture of it.
  6. Unplug the temperature sensor connector from the Control Unit, X02.
  7. Loosen the old temperature sensor bolt.
  8. Use wire cutters to remove the glue holding the old sensor in place. Use a box cutter or a file if needed. Make the surface as smooth as possible.
  9. Remove the old wire and recycle it according to local regulations.
  10. Install the new temperature sensor with M5 bolt and 3 washers. Use a 4‑mm Allen key.
  11. Install the temperature sensor cover with M5 bolt and washer. Use a 4‑mm Allen key to tighten. Make sure the wire is in sensor cover groove before tightening.
  12. Lead the wires to the Control Unit using the same route as the original wire.
  13. Connect the new temperature sensor cables to the Control Unit, X02.
  14. Using cable ties, tie the cables together with other cables.
  15. Switch on the power supply from SW1 in the OPTPSU cabinet.
  16. Start measurement as instructed in OPT100 User Guide (M211858EN).
  17. Check the device after 2 hours to see that there are no errors.
