Technical description

The AC (mains) switch has been removed from the AC input assembly. You must install a disconnection device outside the enclosure to enable switching off AC power.

The AC power is brought into the weather station enclosure through the flange at the bottom of the enclosure and through the strain relief to the mains input assembly.

The ready-made mains input assembly includes all the components that are required by electric safety regulations. The assembly protects the whole system against:

  • Overcurrent
  • Voltage surges

The mains input assembly for the weather station is mounted on a DIN rail.

AC (mains) input components
1
Protective ground terminal (yellow-green). Protects against electric shock in case of a fault.
2
Phase terminal (gray)
3
Neutral terminal (blue)
4
Miniature curve B, 10 A circuit breaker. Protects against overcurrent (up to 6 kA).
5
Surge protector. Protects against overvoltage (between L and N ≤ 1.25 kV, between L/N and PE ≤ 1.4 kV) from AC power line (up to 10 kA, 5kA nominal). Rated voltage: 264 V AC.
6
Mains terminal strip. Connected to AC/DC power supply.
