The small form-factor pluggable (SFP) is a compact, hot-pluggable transceiver used for data communications applications. SFP interfaces a switch to a fiber-optic or copper networking cable. The type of the SFP module varies depending on the fiber type (single-mode/multi-mode) and the used wavelength.
These specifications apply to the specified devices only (Vaisala items 233802 for single-mode and 234930 for multi-mode operation). The type of the device may differ in individual deliveries. For details, see the project documentation. |
