CAUTION

When using Indigo80 with HPP270 series probes, make sure that Indigo80 does not power off automatically if you are logging measurement data in a hydrogen peroxide environment. Allowing Indigo80 to enter low-power mode may power off HPP270 series probes with a firmware version earlier than 1.4.3, resulting in condensation on the sensor and irreparable sensor damage.

In all hydrogen peroxide measurements, ensure that the automatic power off function has been disabled in Indigo80 settings, and there is enough battery charge to avoid accidental powering off. The use of an AC adapter to power Indigo80 is highly recommended in long-term measurements.

1 Vaisala Indigo80 Handheld Indicator is optimized to work with Vaisala measurement devices having the firmware version specified in the table. Devices with older firmware versions may have limited compatibility with Indigo80. To check the firmware version of your Vaisala device, you can use the free Insight PC software, available at vaisala.com/insight.
2 Indigo80 does not support dual‑probe operation for these low‑power compact probes.
3 Recommended firmware version needed both on the transmitter and the probes for full Indigo80 compatibility.
