Follow these instructions to replace the strainer for SWS100 steam wash system.

  • Strainer (Vaisala item 276373SP)
  • 1 ¼ in wrench
  • PTFE‑tape
  • Brush
SWS100 strainer spare part
  1. Familiarize yourself with the safety instructions of the installation site.
  2. Make sure the process line is depressurized and empty.
  3. Remove the old strainer. Loosen it using a 1 ¼ in wrench.
  4. Clean the threads with a brush to remove any remaining PTFE‑tape.
  5. Add 2‑3 rounds of PTFE‑tape to the threads of the new strainer.
  6. Install the new strainer. Tighten using a 1 ¼ in wrench.
    CAUTION Be careful not to over-tighten.
  7. Recycle removed parts according to the recycling instructions in PR53 Prism Wash System User Guide (M212808EN).
