DA10 is delivered with its main cabling connected inside the radiation shield.

WARNING For eye safety reasons, DA10 must be installed vertically.
  1. Lift the radiation shield on the foundation screws.

    Use a spirit level to check that the instrument pedestal is leveled horizontally.

    WARNING When the measurement units are in place do not use the lifting hooks for lifting the instrument. The lifting hooks cannot support the full weight of the instrument. The lifting hooks are for lifting the radiation shield when empty.

  2. Attach the washers and nuts and tighten the nuts.

    Open the back door and remove the bottom cover to make placing the washers and tightening the nuts easier.

    There are 4 extra nuts and washers in the accessories package. They are not needed during installation.

  3. Mount the far-range measurement unit inside the radiation shield.
