To ensure that the transmitter operates as intended, Vaisala recommends grounding the transmitter. Connect the grounding terminal on the bottom of the transmitter to the grounding element of the installation site with a grounding wire.
Alternatively, you can ground the transmitter from the inside using the designated terminal in the power supply input terminal block.
- Detach the grounding terminal screw and washer.
- Place the cable lug of the grounding wire between the washer and the screw.
- Tighten the screw to 3.6 Nm.
After grounding the transmitter, switch on the power supply input.
